connection reset time

Something strange happens: After I have change the connection reset time of my account it works for one day and then it disconnects again at 10 am Paris/Berlin timezone which is the default reset time (1 am Chicago). I then changed my reset time to 7:59 am - 1 minute before the Eurex opens so that it can disconnect one time in 24 hours. Now it works.
It seems that the reset time jumps back to default if it can not disconnect within 24 hours. Is this a bug? It is nowhere documented. And if you open the account connection you don't see a change of the reset time also.

Thanks for reporting in Markus, I'll take a look at mine - so you change the time and then it works only once, reverting back to default if not disconnected at that time the following day?

Right, it seems it gets set back to default if it does not disconnect at the changed reset time within 24 hours.

Unfortunately I still have the issue. It disconnects at the default time (10 am Paris timezone) even after changing the reset time and allowing one reset within 24 hours. Yesterday I changed the account connection - but only the price feed. Today the Primary connection disconnected at 10 am but not the price feed. It reconnected but the prices were frozen.

Something is definitely wrong here, but I know it is very hard to find this bug. But why not just change the default reset time? Why not 1 am Paris timezone. This would be 7 pm in NYC and it would be before the Asian markets open? Would this be possible in 7.0.1000.3?

Thanks for the reply and added info - so far I was unfortunately not able to reproduce here, but we will continue to 'chase' it - can you please clarify what you mean by allowing one reset within 24 hrs? Do you refer to the default set time to trigger a reset once here?

It is written in my first post: I changed the reset time to 7:59, so it can disconnect 1 minute before the Eurex opens. First it seemed to work but then I had the issues again. Why not just change the default time. 10 am is not wisely chosen.

I get the same problem. disconnects me at 10am exactly. It wasn't doing it before so I don't know what happened to change it as I haven't changed anything. I suspect something on Velocity servers has changed??

I am having the same problem with NT 6.5

could you please update if this issue been solved in the latest version of NT7 ?
is there anyway to change connection time on NT6.5

I want to make sure that moving to NT7 if I decide to do it will work.

Nir, no unfortunately for 6.5 this is hardcoded in, while for 7 this is part of the account connection setup. We have unfortunately not been able to reproduce this issue here and so far I'm not aware of any current reports on R4 in this area.

I have changed the following:
I use 2 computers with Ninja at 2 two different locations: one for trading and one for studies in the evening. I used to have the same connection set-up for both PCs. But after I have have changed the host address for my trading connection the issue has not occured again - till now.

I don't know if this was the reason for disconnection at default time (10 am Paris timezone). But if you want you can test this set-up.
