Is there a way to run strategy in sim mode on one chart and be in my live account using Chart Trader in a second chart?

Something that I really encourage NT to do is to permit running a live strategy and let us override that strategy using Chart Trader while the strategy is running.

Hello bob100,

You may absolutely trade using the Sim101 account on a SuperDOM and trade a live account using Chart Trader. Simply select the account you wish to trade by selecting your desired account from the "Account" drop down menu.

Additionally, while you may not run an automated strategy and chart trader simultaneously on the same chart, you may open two separate charts with these features enabled. One with Chart Trader enabled and the second with an attached automated strategy. Using NinjaTrader in this manner is not advised as you may run into undesired results.

With that said it is possible to write in an ATM (Advanced Trade Management) into your automated strategy that would allow you too further dictate how your strategy runs. A sample of calling ATM strategies in automated strategies is included in NinjaTrader 7 and is named "SampleATMStrategy."
