I'm looking at a lot of instruments on a longer minute time-frame. NT always gets the data from my IB server and sometime exceeds the maximum amount of data. (Which results in a 5 minute ban.)
I have all the data stored in the historical data data base - except for the last few hours. How can i set up NT7 to download only the missing data and use the historical data base for the rest? It would speed up everything a lot!

Your charts will update automatically once you connect/re-connect to your data provider. Currently you cannot override this action.

You can supplement this data by using a NinjaTrader-supported data-only provider. This would allow you to circumvent the data threshold restriction with IB.
