1. I have a 3rd party Autotrading Strategy that was designed for me. I would like to know how to exit a trade before the stop or target is hit. I have noticed the "chart trader " is grayed out in the chart window not allowing me to open this within a chart.

Exiting a Automated Trading strategy
I would like to know how to exit a automated trading strategy.
1. I have a 3rd party Autotrading Strategy that was designed for me. I would like to know how to exit a trade before the stop or target is hit. I have noticed the "chart trader " is grayed out in the chart window not allowing me to open this within a chart.Tags: None

nowires, Bob, there are actually quite a few ways to get around this limitation. However, we strongly recommend not messing around with a strategy unless you disable it first, because the strategy will keep running thinking it has the correct position, which will not be the case.
1) Open another chart exactly the same as the one the strategy is running on and open Chart Trader - you can now trade the same instrument as the strategy is trading. You can also see the stops/targets.
2) Open a DOM of the instrument - you can trade from here too.
3) Basic entry window
4) In the positions tab, you can right-click the position and close it from there.AustinNinjaTrader Customer Service
