Getting email support to work

Hi,

I'm currently running the latest version 7 v2.

I'm trying to get email support to work (so I can send messages from my automated system). But when I set it up and test it, I get the following error message:

Failed to send mail: Failure sending mail.

I've tried all sorts of different options, but I get the same result. I've tested my settings in client email applications, and they work fine. I've disabled my firewall completely, and still nothing. Any ideas?

Thank you for your post.

Can you please forward your log and trace files manually to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com so that we can review those diagnostic files in light of the message you receive when using Mail to Support.

You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

• The log file will be named ‘log.YYYYMMDD.txt’

You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

• The trace file will be named ‘trace.YYYYMMDD.txt’

When sending the files can you please reference this forum post, and can you please clarify the different options you have tried and if the messages received when sending mail are the same with the different options.
