Daly chart

Hello,
I have NT7 ,I do not see the daly chart ,the ticks enter trough IB ,the 60 min chart shows that the ticks are there,What I doing wrong.

It appears that, whether Live or Simulated, IB won't take data requests through the API for longer than one year (I tried through the java API). It seems that a data request for greater than one year ought to be routed through a secondary source (say Yahoo or Kinetick). However that doesn't seem to be working for me--the only way I can make it work is if Yahoo/Kinetick are primary. Is there some way to keep IB as primary and use some other source for term daily data? I'd prefer not to disconnect, especially during market hours.

I'm seeing the same data end when I test here. This would indicate an IB limitation.

That said, the only way to access data further back would be to either reorder your connections or to disconnect as you've described. I will, however, forward a suggestion to make a change here on to development for further consideration as a future addition to the software.

Another solution, which I saw referenced elsewhere--is to connect to Kineteck(Free Daily) first, IB Second. Then the daily data will be accessed, without interfering w/ the tickdata coming in from IB. I still think this deserves a program fix, but this workaround functioned for me.

yes it fixed also by me, but unfortunately not with European Shares (because kinetec doesn't offers such ones) :-(
Does anyone knows a provider for free european EOD Data?

Yahoo is free for EOD with Equities, however I don't know if they provide date for European Equities. You can try to create an account connection and see if you can get data to come in.
