Modifying an Existing Strategy Using the Wizard

It seems in the migration from NT 6.5 to NT 7, something changed in how strategy names are handled in the wizard. In 6.5 it was possible to open an existing strategy in the wizard, change its name, modify the parameters and save it as a new strategy under the new name with different parameters. It is much easier to "tweak" an existing strategy to modify it than to recreate all elements of it to make a minor change. Am I misunderstanding how this works or did you eliminate this possibility in the new version. If you did that, why, and is there some work around I can use to accomplish the same thing?

Yes, your observations are correct. Unfortunately we don't have the design details for this. You can no longer edit the name of wizard created strategies through the wizard.

You can still save copies of strategies generated with the wizard. Click View Code, then Right Click > Save as to create a copy of this with a new name.
