How to connect to Esignal

Hello all,

I thought I was following simple instructions to connect to esignal data feed. However, I appear to be failing miserably.

I've followed the instructions in the guide but still no luck.

Can someone please let me know if there is any trick to getting esignal feed into NinjaTrader?

Hi,

I just had a thought. In order for esignal data to be fed into Ninjatrader do I have to purchase Ninjatrader outright or lease it?

If so, how can Ninjatrader be more cost effective than Esignal?

Thank you for your post.

NinjaTrader is not a data provider so you will need to connect to a data source.

You do not need to purchase a Live NinjaTrader license to connect Ninja to a data-only provider.

That is a relief.

So, can you please tell me where I'm going wrong with connecting to esignal, who is just providing me data.

I followed the instructions but I keep on getting the message 'Login failed: Unable to connect to level2 host'

Hello carlton,

For the Level II item: If you have not subscribed to Level II data from eSignal, you must leave the "Level II server host" field blank.
