    Incorrect PnL

    I am using NinjaTrader 7 RC2 (7.0.1000.2).
See attached image of my live trade. NT is showing the incorrect PnL of $-5960, which is 84 times larger than it should be. I am using Kinetick for data, and my live trade is with MB Trading.
As you can see in MB Trading Navigator, the PnL should only be $-70.80.
Basically I am short 20,000 GBPJPY, and at a loss of 25 pips...this should not be $-5960.
I have restarted NT, and reconnected to MBT, but the error persists. This is new to this version. I have placed many forex trades with previous version, with no PnL issues.

    Thanks.

      Astrolobe,

Have you called and confirmed with your broker what your broker has as your PnL? If so what are the results?

No, your trading units here - for a regular lot in FX please enter 0.1M as qty, so profit is the expected 10$ per pip.

            that works...thanks

            ...edit....

please explain....I was told forex mini-lots were $1 per pip

why is quantity not 1 for AUS/USD?...same as 6A....since they both have the same tick size and point value of 0.0001 and 100,000

why does NT not use a consistent quantity for same tick size and point value?

what is the typical margin required for a mini-lot and regular lot ? NT simulator seems to ignoreI Initial Cash setting when trading forex. e.g. $100 initial cash will buy you many thousands of lots of forex

            ...edit....

            found this in another thread..

"...Unfortunately this is as expected when trading order quantities of 1 in the replay101 account with forex. An order quantity of 1 represents one forex base unit.

If you like to trade regular lots, please have the strategy submit orders with a quantity of 100,000. Mini lots need to use 10,000 and micro lots use 1000."

seems to be the same in Sim101 account also.

please still explain typical margin requirements and why simulator Initial Cash has no effect. thanks
