IB Connection Issues

Well here we are with a clean install of TWS and NT7 and I still have problems with the connectivity between these two applications.....

Why does it take so long to load a chart like 60 seconds from IB?
Why when it has loaded say a 1 minute chart it take ages to load a 60 minute of the same currency and then ages when switching back to the 1 minute?
Why when every time I request a new chart IB's 'cashfarm - MarketDate' and/or 'ushmds2a - HDMS' connection drops and then reconnects?

Hello ryebank,

1.) NinjaTrader does not control the time it takes for a data provider to send out chart data. This is something IB would need to clarify for you.

2.) I'm not sure that I follow the disconnection question.
What do you mean by 'cashfarm - MarketDate' and/or 'ushmds2a'?
By 'HDMS', do you refer to the NinjaTrader Historical Data Manager?

these are the connections in IB's connection manager. When i request a price/chart form IB with NT these connections drop, only for a shot time and then reconnect

Ok i see it may be a problem with IB

What about Google, i can't seem to get any prices or realtime charts from Google Finance Connection.

Please note that the free Google connection only provides historical daily data. It does not provide any real-time data.
