incorrect es (s&p emini) daily data

Hi,

The daily chart data for es is incorrect. it seems like the ETH data was included even tho I specified "use instrument default setting" or "CME us index futures RTH". Other people have reported similar issue on the forum with FOREX and some commodities charts. I just want to include es on the bug report list. I am using Interactive Broker. The es daily chart on IB displayed data correctly.

I am wondering when will this problem be fixed? Is there an ETA? It seems to me that it is a critical issue because you cant really trade with incorrect data. Thanks for looking into the problem. In the meantime, is there a way I can correct the data myself on my machine?

Hello eaonent,

Please note that NinjaTrader acts like a radio receiver and displays the data it receives. Session templates do not have effect on daily intervals - daily data is loaded as per the OHLC values that are provided by the data feed.

IB likely provides historical daily data as per ETH (extended trading hours). I suggest to contact IB for confirmation.

You can modify historical data to your liking in the Historical Data Manager. More information can be found at the link below.
