different alert values per market

Is there a way I can have a different alert value for different markets using one Market Analyzer beside coding it into an indicator or a market specific value??

I am using the VOL indicator to signal when a specific volume is reached. However I would like to use a higher value on some markets. Any easy way to do this?

I can clone the VOL indicator and pass back 0 if the value should not signal. Then I can get very specific.

Hello CT,

Unfortunately, there's no way to specify different values depending on the instrument. Market analyzer alerts are setup by a specific column. If you want to set alerts per instrument, creating from a chart is probably the best way to go.

No, there's not much overhead on a market analyzer. It will vary of course based on days to load, specific instruments, and the indicators applied. It will generally be more efficient than using a chart.
