Historical Data Access

Hi,

I have an indicator that is accessing bid/ask volume, when I plot it on a chart with no data connection I get the indicator to plot the entire days back I pick, as soon as i connect to zenfire , I no longer get anything put real time, How can i fix this. thanks.

Can you please clarify which indicator you are plotting, and if it is a custom indicator, or one of the power volume indicators. More information at:

it is a custom indicator, put the main question is if i have the data available, why can't ninja plot it, for example the buysellpressure indicator?

In speaking with development regarding this issue: indicators that require bid and ask data to generate real-time signals will not be able to apply the historical bid and ask data to generate that indicator historically.

This is expected behavior presently, but I have included this as a requested enhancement to NinjaTrader charting.

The data that is historical bid and ask is of a different kind than real-time bid/ask data and thus the real-time indicators that require bid and ask data are not able to use historical bid and ask data to generate but only real-time data.
