No entries

Hi there,

I have a strategy running live on a chart on SIM account.
The chart shows historical entries, which is great.
But when there is a new entry (and I have the chart up) I get this error:
Google, Order 'NT-00010' cant be submitted, Instrument type Stock is not supported by any provider connected. affected Order: Buy 1 market.

So I have only connection to Google, which is not live I see now.
But is it possible to get this these entries showing on chart (like historical entries) but without entering a trade actually?

Hello no111,

Unfortunately this is not supported. In order to execute orders in real-time using an automated strategy, you will need to receive real-time data. Google only supports historical daily data.

Ok thanks, well I have IB feed which works fine actually (realtime).
But when I want to screen, for example, the stocks of Dow 30 I get an error from IB:
'Error on loading chart data for...'
Ninjatrader has reached an IB limitation for historical data requests.
IB may reject all historical data req..for next five minutes"

Do you know how to avoid this? or solution for this?

Unfortunately IB has a data limitation in place - you can only request so much historical data in a period.

Please wait 5 minutes and you will be able to request additional historical data again. I am not aware of any other workaround.
