Per the original thread, I'm not sure what you're asking about specifically. Can you clarify?

The old posts don't have a reply button anymore. The old posts lay it out pretty well. Did you go through them looking at the screen shots?

The forum threads you refer are located in the NinjaTrader 7 beta section, which is closed. That is why you cannot reply on those threads anymore.

I read through the thread and OHLC bars will remain on a black color in the scenario you describe at post #26.

Create a new chart and use black OHLC bars by configuring the Data series menu.

Switch to Candle bars.

Subsequently switch back to OHLC and it still should use black bars.

In addition, you can save the Data Series settings per period type. Right click while your cursor hovers above the grid in the Data Series window and select 'Set Default For XXXX Period Type'.

This doesn't work, which is why I started this thread. The behavior is still the same as it was in post #26.
