Main instrument change panel on applying template

I have created a standard chart setup that I like and thus saved it like a template. Specifically, I have volume in panel 1 and my instrument i panel 2, and some indicators in the rest of panels.

However, every time I apply my template to a new instrument, this instrument shows up in panel 1 together with the volume. As volume is much larger than than the instrument price, the instrument "disappears".

How come that the instrument change panel from 2 to 1 on applying a template?

Thank you for your post.

When you bring up a new chart then instrument will default to Panel 1. You may want to adjust the volume study to scale justification set to the Left axis of the chart.

Alternatively you can save the instrument & volume indicator configuration in a custom workspace so that these settings will be preserved.
