Saving, loading Workspace and Charts

How can "point" NT to load from a location other than the /Documents folder? I want to use a RAM disk to improve performance.

sorry,,i trade scalp some posation on NINJATRADER,because i will join ninjatrader,but some posation hang and lock
now i cant close and remove them from my chart
1-how can i remove them?
it is demo from amptrading broker
2-realy this problem will happend in real account too? wowow
it will be too bad if this happend in realtrade

... I want to use a RAM drive under Vista on my PC. From an application perspective, it wouldn't be any different than a local HDD (except 10x faster).

Does NT need to be run from " C:\.. " or can the application and / or workspace(s) be located on any local drive?

Try resetting your Simulator under Tools--> Options--> Reset Simulator.

If something like this happens in Live mode, immediately contact your broker and have them cancel the orders. If they still show up after, restart your machine and they should be gone. If no, send a note to support at ninjatrader dot com and hold of any actions until you receive a response from us.

Hi,

NinjaTrader will install on your C: drive under the Program Files. We use however My Documents for the installation folder.

Don't use any other set up methods as you can run into issues that aren't supported.

2-i have hard problem,,my pc is fast anough but i have hard problems,,like hanging-crash and posation hanging in my fast and scalping posations and in frist step connection attempt in demo
realy it these problem hapening in real??
3-please give websites that i can find free indicators and how i must install them

You mentioned that your computer is ‘not fast’. You will want to reference our Installation Guide to make sure your PC meets the minimum requirements for NinjaTrader:

As for issues with freezing you will need to send us your Log & Trace diagnostic files. When you experience any issues with the platform please go to Help > Mail to Support…. and make sure to check the item named “Log and trace files”

Since you are setting up a demo with MF Global you will connect NinjaTrader via Patsystems to receive Live market data. You will following these instructions for connecting to Patsystems:

• User name
• Password
• SuperTAS enabled/disabled
• Host address
• Host port
