Historical Data Problems

Hi everyone. I'm completely new to NinjaTrader after just downloading a trial account yesterday w/ a ZenFire data feed. I'm considering switching from TradeStation.

From what I've seen so far NinjaTrader seems very advanced and very comparable to TradeStation and I'm liking it a lot except for the lack of historical data. As most futures traders know the ES is coming into big picture resistance back from Sep/Oct '08. I can't get this data on my charts. I've tried downloading data through the Historical Data Manager on Ninja but that didn't work.

I've been searching the forums and haven't found a clear answer to this question so if anyone has any insight I'd greatly appreciate it as this is somewhat of a deal breaker for me regarding switching to NinjaTrader.

Data in to the Oct/Sep 2008 range is possible to load in the software. Can you tell me which version of NinjaTrader you're using so that I may further investigate?

I'm using NinjaTrader 7.0. I actually solved the problem I think. I disconnected from ZenFire and connected to Kinetick and did what I mentioned above and that worked fine. Is Kinetick always available to NinjaTrader users regardless of which data provider I choose?

Yes - The Kinetick EOD feed is available to all NT 7 users.
