Cannot add tickers to Intrument Manager

Big companies such as NetFlix, Transocean, Diamond offshore (NFLX, RIG, DO) etc cannot be found in the list of stocks and cannot be added to instrument manager to backtest on. Please guide. I need to import or add about 100 tickers.

Thank you for your post.

You may add equity instruments on the fly by opening a chart with a known instrument that loads correctly.

Once the new chart is open within the chart begin typing the symbol for example DO within the chart which will bring up a Change Instrument window. After you have input DO within the Change Instrument Window please hit Enter.


After this procedure DO will be available within your Instrument Manager as well. Repeat this procedure for each equity you would like to add.

Go to instrument manager. Click on New. Enter NFLX as instrument. Select Default and Nasdaq exchanges. In Misc tab, set feed to symbol NFLX.
