    NOR is a stock ticker symbol which I am setting up a strategy for, will my order execute or is there something I need to do for NT to recognize this symbol, I have already set up three new instrument lists which list all traded symbols and NOR is one of them.

      Hello,

      I would want to get rid of this error message first. To do this goto control center->Tools->Instrument Manager and Edit NOR. Then check mark the exchange it trades on in addition to Default. Then try to pull up a chart of the instrument and make sure your recieving data.

        Thanks for the quick response, that got rid of the message. Will I have to do this for every stock I automate or is there a way around this?

          Hello,

          This error message only comes up for I would say about 50 % of IB stocks that require it.

          Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

              I am now receiving this message when activating it, I have Kinetick and it was working fine before

                Hello,

                Thanks for your note.

                You can see that most of the strategies are running on IB connection, Please cancel them and restart them when you are connected to Kinetick first instead of IB. These look to be left over from when you connected to IB first then setup the strategies.

                      bigpapi,

                      These errors suggest your account does not have the proper authorization levels for trading the instruments you are trying. Please contact your data provider and see what is needed to be added to your account to allow for these instruments.

                        These are stocks, I have Kinetick and am able to view the quotes for these just fine on the superdom and on a chart

                          Your data provider may be Kinetick, but your trading account is Interactive Brokers. Your IB account does not look to have the proper authorization level for these instruments and you will need to contact them to see what needs to be done to be added so you can trade these instruments.

                            I will call them but I am able to trade all US stocks and have been for years, the message is "requested market data is not subscribed" which to me sounds like IB is not receiving some type of market data it needs to process the order. Have you seen this type of message before?

                              We see these messages when customers do not have the proper authorizations. What is the order you are connect to your feeds from? Usually you would want to connect to Kinetick first then IB if you want your data to be coming from Kinetick.
