Indicator not working in Market Analyzer

(newbie coded indicator)

The attached indicator produces alerts when on a chart, but not inside the Market Analyzer.

It has a SendMail and DrawUpArrow in it....I was hoping the SendMail would work in the MarketAnalyzer.

Can someone tell me what the problem is?

Hi TurtleTrader,

It looks good and should work the same on chart and Market analyzer with exception of the draw methods.

I would add a print statement to verify the condition is triggering true. Alerts and emails only work on real time data, so make sure the market analyzer's session template includes the current time. You can verify this through the Right Click > Properties selection.

Turtle I'm a Newbie as well.... Not as far along as you, but to me it looks like your PRINT statement may be what is causing the problem... The one indicator that I added to Market Analyzer Woodie_CCI returns an INT value between -4 and +4, then using that value the Cell properties are then manipulated manually with 9 values to get differing colors. I think you need an INT Output to get it to work in Market Analyzer.

update -- it works now

NT7 has the Session Template...when I set it (Market Analyzer Properties) to Default 24/7 the indicator started producing alerts in the Market Analyzer....
