I would like to get feedback on how much interest there would be among NinjaTrader users for a Gann Swing method of charting.
A colleague and I are presently discussing the possibility and logistics of writing a script that would plot swing highs and lows in the method employed by Gann, and as demonstrated by David Bowden in the original Safety In the Market videos (not connected to the new owners who are presently under investigation.by ASIC).
It is basically a system that relies on pattern recognisation, though it does include some time scale analysis. I have been studying Gann Swings for about 5 years now, and would like to see this functionality included in NinjaTrader.
If there is sufficient interest in this method of charting, development of this could very well be sped up to a more pressing project among many that I am involved in.
