Randomized indicator list

When I select several indicators on a chart and click OK on the indicator window, I expect that the indicators will remain in the same order as they were in the list when I clicked OK. But sometimes the order changes when I reopen the Indicator window, and I can't figure out why this happens. It seems to be random and it's frustrating because I would like them in a specific order.

There is no secrecy, I thought this post was in reference to a duplicate support request but I was mistaken.

Please send an email to support AT ninjatrader DOT com and detail the specific steps you are taking in order for us to reproduce this issue & determine what might be taking place.

After this assessment and resolution we will be able to update this forum thread for others to review as well.

OK thanks Chip. So you have never seen this happen before? It's pretty common, but I don't have exact steps for you to reproduce. Dan, do you?

Basically, just add a bunch of indicators to a chart, noting the order they are in. Then run the chart, maybe live or market replay data, and reopen the indicators every now and then. Eventually you will see that they are out of the original order.
