I contacted the Ninja Trader staff and they recommended that I post my question here. As I understand it, Ninja Trader does not support the screening of databases for a list of stocks that satisfy certain criteria.
What I would like to be able to screen a database such as the NASDAQ or NYSE applying user defined criteria [for example, a Bollinger Band Squeeze] that would generate a list of stocks that satisfy the conditions of the squeeze. I'm not a programmer but I can certainly use an assisted type of code. ProRealTime offers this but it is not working quite right lately. I tried a simple code in Strategy Desk from TD Ameritrade but it was really slow.
I was wondering if any of you could suggest any software packages that are worth looking at.
