Does FLATTENALL ..... first does CANCELALL ?

Please read CANCELALL .... as ...... CANCELALLORDERS.

Do I have to manually issue CANCELALLORDERS ...... first ?



Also in simulation, after hours, FLATTENALL seems to :

1. Do CANCELALLORDERS .... then issue a fresh CLOSE order.

2. But the fresh close order does not seem to execute after hrs (peculiar to after hrs only ?)

Flattenall cancells all then submits a close order. The reason that after hours the close all order is not filled right away is that the market is not moving and market data has not come in to trigger the simulator to fill the order.

Would the same be true for LIVE trading i.e. FLATENALL ..... after hrs .... same behavior.

Market orders should fill instantly regardless of what time it is.
