Charts Not Using the Correct Day Break

If I open a double series EURUSD chart with an end date June 2 (selected via Data Series Menu), I expect that the chart ends with the last session break of that day as defined per session manager.

The session template that I use for all FOREX instruments has 3 sessions (template attached). The last session ends at 5:00 PM Est, which is the New York Close.

If you look at the chart below, you will find

for the EURUSD 300 tick chart

-> the chart ends with the first candle after midnight local time

for the EURUSD 10 min data series

-> the chart ends after the first intraday session of the next day

In the screenshot showing the Data Series template selected it has Session Template = <Use instrument settings>. What happens when you apply your custom template or ‘Default 24/7’?

Thanks for your answer. By conincidence I had a data hole on June 3, so I need to reformulate the problem:

(a) If I use a template 24/7 the data series are displayed as expected (chart 1)

(b) If I use my template with 3 sub-sessions the Asian session is added for both dataseries (chart 2)

Note that there is a design problem with the session manager, as the user cannot define the trading day. If you look at other software such as Multccharts, you can select the last session for the day, which is not possible with Ninjatrader. As the information is not there, NT needs to use hueristic rules to decide to which trading day the session belongs and often gets it wrong.
