NinjaTrader 7 not receiving MBTrading data

Hello,

I just installed NinjaTrader 7 with the corresponding MBT Navigator and do not receive futures market data for TF anymore. Funny thing is when I was using NinjaTrader 6.5 just 5 minutes ago, I had market data just fine. Do I need to reset something somewhere with NinjaTrader 7?

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your post.

Please set the mapping for MB Trading with the steps I have provided below.

• Disconnect from MB Trading
• Tools
• Instrument Manager
• Search for TF
• Select TF
  Click Edit
• Misc. tab
• Input TF next to MB Trading as referenced in the screen shot below
• Click OK
• Remove TF from your Default list
• Add TF back to your Default list

Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

Yes, it did work. The application seems to freeze now after a few seconds. hmmm... going to bed. it's late where i live. thanks.

Figured out why it was freezing.

It was freezing when I re-sized the control center window because I had added an apostrophe in the Workspace name (e.g. Michael's Preferred Window). The workspace name is used as the title of the control center window. When I re-sized the window, the application froze and eventually died. Hmmm... seems like a bug.

Aside from the name of the workspace, would there be any other steps I'd need to take? For instance, is it important that the Control Center be resized in a special way?

For me, just resizing did it, both horizontally and vertically. When I changed the workspace name, it didn't do that anymore. I'm running it on XP Home.

As a follow-up, I believe this only occurred when I was streaming data. I was receiving TF (mini Russell 2000) in the basic order entry window. Could be a memory issue.
