attach price to horizontal line?

Can somebody please tell me how to put a price on a horizontal line.

I draw a line on the chart but I can't see where to attach a price to it, I move it up or down between the prices on the right axis but I'm only guessing when the line is in between 2 prices.

Thank you for your post.


When drawing, you may want to turn on the Cross Hair.


To enable the Cross Hair, from the Chart Toolbar left click on the mouse cursor icon and select Cross Hair. This will give you a price marker where your mouse is on the price axis.


If you are using NinjaTrader 7, you can also combine the use of the Cross Hair and Snap Mode Price which will snap all drawing object anchors to prices.


From the Chart Toolbar, left click the Pencil icon -> Select Snap Mode -> Price.
