Strategy Persistence

Hi,

I'm a newbie to NT7. I've some doubts regarding Strategy persistence in Chart.

Going through the help guide for Strategy Persistence in charting i come across a statement like "When the chart containing the automated strategy is closed though, the strategy will not be persisted (stopped and removed)."

Do this means that if i open one strategy in a chart and even if i close or shutdown the ninja trader, the strategy will not be stopped and removed, its running offline?

Thanks for your note.

All strategies run local on your PC. If NinjaTrader is not connected then your strategy is not running period.

Strategy persistance here is refering to keeping your settings in place so when you restart NinjaTrader all you have to do is enable the strategy and your good to go instead of having to resetup the strategy each day.
