Copying ntd files

Can I copy ntd files from a continuous contract directory (6A ##-##) to another contract directory, like 6A 03-11?

That's a bit annoying. Is the contract name hard coded within the file or something?

Dave, we could unfortunately not disclose the file format, I gave it a try here the other way round (since I would not have recorded continuous contract data) and it appears to be working ok (changed the file name from for example 12-10 to ##-## expiry) - unfortunately officially this would not be supported.

Right, thanks, that's what I suspected.

Please be aware that there's a huge difference between doesn't work and not officially supported. Please don't say doesn't work unless you're sure as it could cost your customers a lot of time and effort. Thanks.

Dave, correct it might or might not work...you need to be aware of that with those modifications you would be on your own if issues arise.
