initialize account

I am using Ninja 6.5 with the sim101 account.
sometimes when I start my strategy it says position is Long

can I give the following statements in the initialize section

if (position.MarketPosition == MarketPosition.Long)
ExitLong();

if (position.MarketPosition == MarketPosition.Short)
ExitShort();

Hello rjngh2005,

Unfortunately this will not work. What you can do in this case is return out of Historical processing. Then NinjaTrader will always have a flat state when you start the strategy.

return;
