AutoTrade Top 10 Considerations

Hi Community
I have not done Auto trading in the past. I have been sim trading a strategy, and before I go live, would like to know from experienced auto traders what I should be aware of.
For example
1) Is there some code I should have in my strategy to protect myself
2) Is it ok to run all night while you sleep?
3)etc

I just downloaded nt7 this weekend so I have yet to check it out live. I have only read about it and seems like something I will utilize if I can ever finish moving everything over from 6.5. All info is on website I posted though.

This page is good for outlining the strategy development process. Running the strategy in real time simulated or in market replay is essential before trading live.

You should look into the disconnection handling options available under tools > options > strategies > NinjaScript.

You can also custom code disconnection handling and error handling.
