When ever I place a limit order it is being placed as a market order on my DOM. How do I correct this?

Thank you for your post.
If you are trying to place a Buy Limit order above the current market price, it is expected for it to fill you at market. The same is true for a Sell Limit order below the current market price.
You will need to use Stop orders in place of Limit orders under these scenarios. You can place a stop order by pressing the middle click (scroll wheel) on your mouse.
