Starting Strategy calcs on existing bar, doesn't wait for next bar to complete

Starting Strategy calcs on existing bar (to place a limit order). I want it to wait for next bar to complete before firing.

Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

This is controlled with CalculateOnBarClose settings.

Strategy calculations can be made at bar close (COBC = true) or on every tick (COBC = false).

The code shows "CalculateOnBarClose = true:"

When you create the chart and start the strategy, if it finds the last bar meets the conditions for a limit order, it fires. The strategy does not wait for the current bar to close.

Sounds to me as if you are simply submitting live any working historical orders. Please take a look at your Tools>Options>Strategies>NinjaScript tab. Please select "Wait until flat" instead of "Immediately submit".
