You mentioned in a post somewhere that Kinetick is the optimal data provider for NT7 in 64 bit mode?
Is this correct?
I am currently doing a reinstall of NT7 (R) in 64 bit mode on Windows Server 2008 R2.
What problems will I run into of I am using Zenfire as my datafeed?

Hello,
I do not know if you will run into any issue.
The main difference most likely will be the historical data portion. As the zenfire historical data is not combed for accuracy. Wheras the Kinetick data is. There may also be more historical data availiable from kinetick.
Kinetick is the preferred data feed provider for NinjaTrader 7.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.BrettNinjaTrader Product Management

I backed up my NT7 Beta running on W7 32bit
Migrated and restored to:
WIN Server 2K8 R2 64 bit in Virtualize Mode(Parallels).
After the Restore almost completed: it didnt complete because it was saying there is a file missing?
Is this because of 32 to 64 migration?
This is the Window Prompt I received:Last edited by Oil_Trader; 12-03-2010, 10:09 PM.

I checked the NT7 Folder and saw that only the database was loaded.
The Chart templates were not loaded
The Strategies were not loaded
The Indicators were not loaded
The Workspace templates were not loaded
Did I miss something during the ReLoad of Database?

i just did a clean install into Server2K8 64bit of the latest NT7 alpha version.
The Kinetick connection works fine and connects to the data server (End of Day)
But the Zenfire doesnt connect when I use the same credentials. This same credentials work fine on my WIN7 machine.
