Saving Chart

Hello FTrader,

You can save a chart template to save the chart properties menu and applied indicators. You can save a workspace to save all charts you have opened and other windows.

Workspaces and chart templates can be transferred to another PC that has NinjaTrader installed. You will create a backup file on one PC and restore it on the other PC.

Please create a backup file as per the instructions at the link below on your old computer.

Once NinjaTrader created a backup file, it is located at My Documents-->NinjaTrader Backup as .ntbk file.

Copy this file to the new computer at the exact same location; My Documents-->NinjaTrader Backup.

Start NinjaTrader and restore the backup file on the new computer.

Is there a way to save charts to a file and open them an an other workstation?
