Adding a new indicator

Hi There

I am new to Ninja Trader and am trying to add PivotPoints.cs (downloaded from the forum to my list of indicators. I put the PivotPoints.cs file in the Bin>Custom>Indicator directory but do not see it when I try to add it in indicators on a chart? I am using Ninja Trader 7 . What am I doing wrong?

That wopnt work GK, it has to be compiled.
Where did you find the .cs file, can you post a link to the thread please? then I can help.

OK, looks like you probably downloaded the .zip file and extracted the .cs from it.
The fist bit was OK, but the zip is for NinjaTrader to open, not you.

Download the zip file and remember where you put it.
Open NinjaTrader
In the Control Center click File - Utilities - Import Ninjascript
Navigate to your saved zip file and click open

Ninjatrader will import and compile the code. You should then be able to use it.
