Account Security and Leased Servers

Hello,

I would like to secure the account and login information as Ninja is running on a leased server.

I have a few questions:

1) where is the account account/password stored? (where on the hard drive, and in what file?)

2) is it encrypted?

3) is it possible to put the account information in an encrypted virtual drive...for example Truecrypt (www.truecrypt.org) where the drive can be mounted/dismounted. It requires a password to mount the virtual drive.

4) What do other users do concerning this issue?

Thank you for your post.

Regarding your particular questions:
1. The connection information is stored locally on your PC in the My Documents-->NinjaTrader 6.5 or 7 folder in the config.xml file.

2. The security of that file will be dependent on the security of the PC since the file is not encrypted except the password.

3. This maybe possible if you configure NinjaTrader to run on a networked PC, but it is not something that we would be able to support due to the remote server encryption settings. More information at:

4. I can not speak with authority about how other users handle this type of setup, but perhaps other traders will follow up with their own experiences.
