Horizontal Lines Not Restored From Backup

I recently cleared my hard drive and reinstalled NT7. Before doing so I ran the NT backup utility and backed up all my configuration files, historical chart data, templates and workspaces. However, when I restored NT, my horizontal lines that I had drawn were not restored. All of my extended lines, rays, rectangles etc were restored but not my horizontal lines. I'm wondering why this is. Did I maybe do something incorrectly?

Do you recall if these objects were saved into a specific custom workspace?

Were the drawing objects (e.g. horizontal lines) a component of an indicator or were they manually & individually applied to the charts?

Were these objects ‘Locked’?

Hi thanks for your quick reply.

All my drawing objects were saved into one custom workspace. Everything that I had drawn was drawn manually and individually and nothing was locked.

Originally I had an indicator which simply labeled each line that I had drawn manually with its respective price. I think it's called HorizontalLineLabels or something. I did a test run and it did not restore these so I removed the indicator. I did a test run again and it worked without the indicator so I created a backup without the indicator, but after I erased my hard drive and attempted to restore it didn't work.

Hello BrandonLG83,

In the future I would recommend selecting the horizontal line drawing objects & right-click & select Locked and then saving them in the workspace. To test this you can run a backup & give this version of the backup a unique name. Once you restore from this file let me know if this issue persists.
