Using volume trigger

I have a question about the volume trigger on stop losses. I have tried using different numbers as the volume trigger (15, 20, 25, 50) and most of the time I get stopped out 1 tick worse than where my stop was placed. My order is not being placed until there are only 25 contracts (or whatever number I put in as my volume trigger) left to be filled at that price.

It was told by some other trader that the volume trigger should instead work like this: the order would be placed after 25 many contracts were filled at my stop price (or whatever number I put in as my volume trigger).
I would like have it set up this way, is there a way to do this?

Hello maggiej12,

Unfortunately there's no way to configure the volume trigger to work this way.

It submits orders whenever volume is <= your specified volume trigger.
