Rollover functionality
Hello , please advise how to disable an rollover functionality for a particular instrument. My points it to see the two delivery months of a future in one chart and to evaluate the spread between em. I tried to add 2 futures in my list , each with different delivery month, unfortunatelly after loading data, they are identical.
Please advise how to handle this.Last edited by milos.adamec; 11-19-2010, 08:25 AM.Tags: None

Hello milos.adamec,
Thank you for your note.
This behavior is a consequence of the merge policy NinjaTrader is currently set to use.
Please take the following steps:
- From the Control Center, click Tools > Options to load the Options menu.
- In the Options menu, navigate to the Data tab.
- In the Data tab, set the 'Merge Policy' setting to 'DoNotMerge', then click OK.
- After changing this setting, reload historical data in your charts.

Hello, thanks for a reply.
This means that if i want to have 2 charts showing for ex. NQ (1 merged, and second unmerged) i will need to define a new instrument in master instrument list. I tried it and it works fine, what i miss here is a COPY/PASTE function to define a new instrument. It would save a lot of clicking.

Check out my indicator http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ad.php?t=38011 It will allow you to plot the difference using several chart types (candlestick, HiLo, OHLC, line, box) and much more.
