PnL not updating after a losing trade

The PnL at the bottom of the price ladder in the DOM does not appear to update cumulative total after a losing trade, but it does so(and accurately) after a winning trade.

Is this a bug?

I just tried to reproduce this while being connected to the simulated datafeed and was unsuccessful. Can you provide me with a scenario and also send me a screenshot of this showing?

Hi Vincent,

I'm trading live on 6E-12 through IB, and using v 1000.5

I use an ATM strategy with initial stop, target and trailing stop, trades made using the DOM, but chart trader activated on one of my charts, the 1 minute.

While in a trade, the PnL window at the bottom of the ladder next to the Market buttons, will show current status, such as either dollar value (less commission) or points, and will change red or green depending on immediate price relative to entry price.

Also on the chart, another dollar value will appear showing green or red likewise, but I guess its less commissions on round trip.

Thank you for sending the screen shots to our support team.

Please confirm the following Chart Trader/SuperDOM property.

Right click on Chart Trader and go to Properties > Strategy Selection Mode, is this set to Display Selected Strategy Only?

If the answer is yes, please go to your SuperDOM and right click and go to Properties > Strategy Selection Mode and is this set to Display Selected Strategy Only?

Try changing this property to SelectActiveStrategyonOrderSubmission for both windows and then verify if your realized PnL appears in the PnL window for both long and short trades.

Hi Ryan,

Yes, I have noticed there is a bit of a discontinuity between the DOM and the Chart trader sometimes...I'll have a look at this tomorrow and play with it. Thanks for pointing me to this...it sounds like thats the cause.
