Loading Data from IB

Hi,

I've merged data from my own mintue/tick data for an instrument since 01/2009 up to now, i.e. I can have about a 2 year chart. It works fine without connecting with IB.

But when I connect NT7 with IB for live data. IB will pop up error message stating that there is an error on loading data for 2009, and the chart just stop somewhere in 2009. And I have to limit the data range from 01/2010 till now, when I connect with IB.

Any workaround to use my data from my pc and only load live or data in the present month from IB? Thx.

Hello pipal,

Yes, you can disable historical data with IB, so it will not try to load any historical data from IB. Please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Account Connections, highlight your IB connection and click Change. Subsequently disable historical data and finish the connection.
