chart trader help

I can't figure out how to enable chart trader on NT7. It is greyed out. The manual doesn't account for the grey out condition. Bound to be simple, unless you don't know (like me).

Thank you for your post.

To enable Chart Trader can you please make sure that you are connected to your Data Provider, and that your chart does not have an active strategy running.

If those items are true can you please go to Help-->License Key and then please send an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and include a link to this forum, as well as the License Key you are presently using.

I have a strategy 'on' the chart but disabled. I will remove it completely and give it a try. Thanks.

Hi billr,

Yes, you can not have both a strategy and Chart Trader running on the same chart, but if you open two separate charts for the same instrument you can run a strategy and then use Chart Trader on the same instrument.
