Renko Bars

I work a Back Test with my strategy that work withe type o chart Renko Bars (12 tick). I want to say if in back test the data that build a candle are tick by tick.

volpiemanuele, unfortunately in backtesting the intrabar formation is not known - you could add a finer series though and then execute to it - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ead.php?t=6652

In real-time, data arrives tick by tick, but the bar doesn't actually form a new bar until the close + / - the brick size is breached. The Renkos will not back test properly regardless because the opening price of a reversal brick plotted at the same price as the prior open, which isn't realistic, but this is how a traditional Renko is created.
