    DOM crashing the platform

Recently when I try to select the SPI in the SuperDom, it crashes NinjaTrader.

The SPI is the Australian ASX 200 Dec futures contract that trades on the SFE.

The market depth data is still coming through my data provider which is IB. I can see it in IB.

It previously did work, now it doesn't.

It does show the current prices for a little bit before crashing along with the size of the lot that last got traded but no pending orders. Then after a moment or two it freezes up and crashes.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    Hello trentcroad,

When you say that NinjaTrader crashes, am I correct you receive an error message that states to send us your trace file? If so, can you please provide your trace file. You can find trace files at the following location.

Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> Trace--> trace.20101115 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)

If you do not experience such an error, please try the following. Disconnect from IB and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab and click Reset Instruments.

Subsequently, restart NinjaTrader and check if you receive data for the SPI 12-10 in the SuperDOM.

      Thanks Jason

The reset of the instruments did the trick.

      You're a legend.
