    Backup Question

I like to backup NinjaTrader a couple times a week. But after some time, this creates a rather large file. I really only need to backup the most recent settings and the rest can be discarded. I'm wondering if it's possible to have my most recent backup file replace the preceding one each time, so I will only have one file (the most recent) as backup? I ask because I backup to IDrive which is a cloud-based storage. The larger the files to backup, the longer it takes to complete, and until now, I've just been manually deleting the files, but it's rather laborious and I often forget to do it. I like things to be as automated as possible.

    Hello BrandonLG83,

    Thank you for your post.

This would be possible, but you'd need to change the name that the backup uses.

Keep in mind that, by default, backups will be named by date. If you'll change this to, for example, 'backup', the existing file would be re-written. This change would be a manual one, however.

Okay, that will suffice. Thanks again for your help, Kyle
