    Critical message re account connection

    Yesterday I received the following critical message;

    ++++++++++++++
    We have identified an issue with the underlying API used to implement the Zen-Fire 64-bit adapter. We advise any non US user not to use the 64-bit Zen-Fire connection until further notice.
    Impacted:
    - NinjaTrader 7 users
    - Non US users of 64-bit Zen-Fire connection
    Implications:
    - Possible rejected orders due to invalid stop price formatting
    - If an order is rejected, users will no longer be able to connect to their account (both 32-bit or 64-bit) for the current trading session
    Note: This does not impact exclusive users of Zen-Fire 6.5 or version 7 32-bit.
    +++++++++++++++

    I live in the US, but I am a version 7 user (latest version), so I want ot make sure am I effected by this issue or not? I don't know if I'm a "32-bit version or not. How can I tell?

    Lastly, if I am effected by this, what can I do about it?

    Thanks,

    Safetrading

    Hi safetrading,

    Thank you for your post.

    As a U.S. based user, you are not effected by this issue.

      Connection to Zenfire 64bit not working

      I am US user and have uploaded the latest version Ninjatrader 64-bit 7.0.0.23

      Unfortunately when I try to connect to Zenfire I get this message:

      Login failed: Zen-Fire is not available in the 64-bit version of Ninjatrader. You must use the 32-bit version of Ninjatrader.

      I tried creating a new connection and still got the same message.

      Am I doing something wrong? I thought I would be able to connect to 64-bit Zenfire.

      Please advise

      PEDRO

        Hello Pedro,

        Can you please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Account Connections. Highlight your Zen-Fire connection and click Change. Click Next twice and click the 'Settings>>' button. Make sure 'Enable 64-bit' is checked and finish the connection.

        You should now be able to connect to Zen-Fire while running NinjaTrader in 64 bit.
