NinjaTrader don't run

Hello. I have a problem. I work with NT 6.5. I was developping a indicator, I had compile and when I put it in a graph the NT crash down. Now, when every time that I try to run NT it shows the message about GAIN and when I accept it crash down another time.

How can clean and run NT another time?

Thank you for your post.

As a first step, please follow the instructions below to see where the errors are coming from after compiling the indicator. This will allow you to debug the indicator/strategy or remove it from your PC. If you are wondering why you receive an error when compiling only one indicator, it is because NinjaTrader compiles all indicators and strategies- not just one.

1. Open NinjaTrader
2. From the Control Center select the Tools menu--> select the Edit NinjaScript menu item--> select Indicator
3. Select an indicator and double click on it.
4. A new window will appear and you will need to right click in the window and select Compile to compile the indicators.
5. At the bottom of the window a new section will appear were you can find the error locations.

From there you have the option to remove the indicator or debug it.

Hello. My problem is that I cannot open NT. It shows the messagge 'Restoring workspaces by default', shows the window about GAIN FOREX and when I accept pressing OK then NT crash down and finish dissapearing from the screen. Have I to reinstall NT?

In this case you will want to move all workspace files out of the default directory and see if that clears up these issues. Here are the instructions:

To temporarily move the workspace (.xml) files,
1. Close NinjaTrader
2. locate the NinjaTrader workspace folder (My Documents / NinjaTrader 6.5 / workspaces)
3. then select >
4. cut >
5. & paste all of these files to a temporary folder (e.g. on your desktop)

Please let me know once you complete this & if you are then able to start the platform and run it without issue.
