    Customized Fib Retracements- Default Save

    Hello,

I changed around the values and colors of the fib retracements. How do I save my custom setting as default so that no matter what chart I draw on, the fib retracements draw how I set the levels / colors up?

    Hello timothymhanna,

For NinjaTrader 6.5 Make sure you are completing the steps to save the custom configured Fib drawing tool.
    1. Apply Fib Retracement to chart
    2. Select & right-click to edit/customize
    3. Right-click on edit dialog
    4. Confirm ‘default’ is selected (visible in “Name” field)
    5. Save as ‘default’
    6. Reapply customized (default) Fib Retracement.

For NinjaTrader 7 you will customize the Fib Retrace tool & then save it as the “default” template (right-click > Manage Template > save as ‘default’)

What you might want to do is create default chart template with the custom configured Fib retracements & then set them up a in custom workspace. This way you don’t have to keep reconfiguring them each time you build a new chart. I have included all the instructions for managing workspaces.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
